Greer Jacks

Born and raised in Victoria, Greer attended Oak Bay High School, then completed his undergraduate program at the University of Victoria before moving to the UK, where he studied law at City University London. During his time in London, Greer gained legal experience at an international firm.

Following his legal education, Greer returned to Victoria and completed the National Committee of Accreditation’s challenge examinations to obtain a Certificate of Qualification, necessary for membership to Canadian Law Societies. He has since created a course on the effective use of trusts for one of Canada’s leading post-secondary educational institutions, and presented this session in Vancouver.

A gold medal winner in competitive swimming at the Provincial and Junior National levels, Greer shared his experience in the pool by coaching competitive swimming for children and working at the University of Victoria Summer Camps program. Today you might find him cycling, surfing, or playing guitar, surrounded by friends and family.

Greer is a an elected volunteer member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Victoria Eldercare Foundation and the Greater Victoria Housing Society.

Greer primarily advises clients on Wills & Estates matters, as well as corporate law.
